Charlie is a designer, typographer and general problem-solver currently based in Seattle. At 15, he started classes at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. By 17 he was awarded the Promising Artist Award and dove in for his college years. Currently, he makes a living by cracking out logos, business materials and updating websites.

Before that, you’d have found him designing for the Missoula Independent, an alt-weekly newspaper that explores the fringes of Western Montana. Preceding the paper’s purchase by Lee Enterprises, his contributions ranged from marketing concepts, strategies and layout, to spot illustrations and cover art, with a focus on typography.

He subscribes to Vignelli design philosophy, minimalism and the beauty of geometry.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys learning just about anything, inventing cocktails and spending time outdoors. Holler for a quote, or just say hi.
